Disk 4 - Endurance World Open Bermuda 2007 – Final
Amr Shabana v Gregory Gaultier
Gaultier beat Shabana in front of the pyramids at Giza in the semi-final last year to further enhance his standing over the World #1 but then went on to lose out in the Final to David Palmer in that Classic World Open Final where Gaultier had 6 Championship Balls. Now he faces Amr Shabana again in front of a packed house at the spectacular setting in the customer built arena in Bermuda and although Shabana is in terrific form, many feel that Gaultier will trouble Shabana. Wael El Hindi is in the commentary box. |

Tournament of Champions and Canary Wharf 2007 SuperPack
Match 1 - BEAR STEARNS Tournament of Champions 07
Quarter-Final 27-Feb-07
Ramy Ashour v James Willstrop
"One of the top ten matches of All Time" was the quote from Malcolm Willstrop who was in James' corner during this match. Both players give everything in this tremendous tussle at Grand Central Terminal in New York. We have Wael El Hindi in the commentary box and we can hear Malcolm Willstrop talk to James between games. Certainly we believe that this match has been the best match of 2007 to date and it has some pretty fierce competition from the two matches below from the ISS Canary Wharf Classic.
Match 2 - BEAR STEARNS Tournament of Champions 07
Quarter-Final 28-Feb-07
Olli Tuominen v David Palmer
The 3 referee system is being used for the first time in front of PSALIVE camera's and this match really tests out the new system. David Palmer has an incredible head-to-head record over Tuominen but Tuominen has already beaten Former World #1, Lee Beachill and is showing some great form going into this match. A rough tough encounter with lots of referee decisions and plenty to talk about with Malcolm Willstrop providing expert insight from Grand Central Terminal in Central New York.
BONUS GAME ON PAL DVDS ONLY:
We have also added the 1st game of Lincou v Ricketts – There were a lot of decisions in this match and the 1st game was a 30 minute tense tussle between these two who competed in the Final here in 2005.
Match 3 - ISS Canary Wharf Squash Classic
Semi-Final 22nd March 2007
John White v Thierry Lincou
These two former World #1 players have had some great matches over the years and this one is no exception. Lincou is the defending Canary Wharf Champion and is favourite to beat White in this match, but White has had a recent run of good form and is a former winner of this tournament himself. This match has everything with an amazing twist at the end which no-one expected. Malcolm Willstrop and Wael El Hindi provide fantastic commentary in this superb tussle in front of another full house at East Wintergarden on the Canary Wharf Estate.
Match 4 - ISS Canary Wharf Squash Classic
Final 23rd March 2007
John White v James Willstrop
These two former Canary Wharf Champions has given us a week of enthralling squash and now we come down to the final. 33 year old John White has had 3-2 matches all the way through the tournament and has looked down and out on more than one occasion whereas Willstrop has look very sharp and has had an easier run through the tournament. For the first time in squash, we listen to Malcolm Willstrop talk to James between games and also talk to Andy Bunting who is in John White's corner so we get opinions of the match from both corners. Adrian is joined by Wael El Hindi as we witness an unexpected classic at the Classic. |

US Open, Bermuda and Kuwait
From feedback we have received from you, we have collected the best squash matches from the PSA World Tour and compiled them all together. Early on in the season, we realise some tremendous matches from the English, British and World Opens, but now its time for a "best of the rest".
Match 1 - Virtual Spectator Bermuda Masters 06
Final – 8-April-06
Peter Nicol v Amr Shabana
We start with a match which many people have said was the best match of 2006 and what a match it was. We are very grateful to Bermuda Squash Rackets Associations for allowing us to produce this DVD.
Peter Nicol is on tremendous form coming into this tournament, he had just won his second Commonwealth Games Singles Title in amazing fashion the previous week and took the Doubles with Lee Beachill and in his previous PSA tournament at the Tournament of Champions, he played some amazing squash and just lost out to Gregory Gaultier in the most watched match in the history of PSA Squash. Our Number 1 best DVD seller and most watched online (if you don't have this match in your collection yet then make sure you get it quickly).
Amr Shabana is undoubtedly the World #1 on current form and he destroyed the field in New York in quick time. This meeting is the match that everyone wanted to see and both players had really tough draws to get to this final - Amr beating Joey Barrington, John White in an amazing 5 set match, James Willstrop in a 4 set match that had both players on the floor and World #1 for the whole of 2005 Thierry Lincou - The White and Willstrop matches are well worth a view online. Nicol meanwhile had to beat Karim Darwish (in 5), David Palmer in a repeat of that Commonwealth Games Final and then Gregory Gaultier in the Semi-Final 3-0 to revenge his defeat in New York.
Dan Jenson commentates on a truly wonderful match.
Match 2 - US Open 06
2nd Round 13-Nov-06
Ramy Ashour v Anthony Ricketts
Its not often that we show earlier round matches, but this match is really significant. A lot of the top players had seen Ramy Ashour get to the Final on Hong Kong on the All Glass court but many players felt that Ashour had adapted better to the glass floor than anyone else. This match was a real test of how Ashour had progressed on a wooden floor. We saw Ashour lose 3-0 to Ricketts in the Saudi International 2005 but he showed signs of brilliance and this match was going to be the first real test for the double world junior champion. Anthony Ricketts is certainly no pushover and with recent British Open and TOC wins under his belt, wanted to better his semi-final showing last year.
We did have a few sound problems in the early rounds of this tournament but it certainly does not spoil your enjoyment of this match. Mark Chaloner, in his final PSA tournament, comes into the commentary during the match.
Match 3 - US Open 06
Semi-Final 15-Nov-06
Ramy Ashour v Amr Shabana
A repeat of the Hong Kong Final with Ashour looking for revenge against a rampant Shabana. A full house in Central Boston, USA witnessed the most amazing match of all out attack from both players that will leave you breathless. Sit back and enjoy as Wael El Hindi gives us an Egyptian angle on commentary with Adrian Battersby.
Match 4 - US Open 06
Final 16-Nov-06
Amr Shabana v Gregory Gaultier
Amr Shabana has an incredible winning record in PSA Finals but Gregory Gaultier is a player who has a good record against Shabana and this promises to be far from easy for the World #1. Gaultier is looking for a breakthrough major tournament victory which will help his ranking no end. A full house at the Back Bay Events Centre in Central Boston with Adrian Battersby and Nick Matthew providing commentary.
BONUS MATCH ON PAL DVDS ONLY:
On our US Open Final DVD we have added the enthralling match between John White and Gregory Gaultier from the Quarter-Final of the INFOR Windy City Open 07. We join the match at the start of the 2nd game.
Match 5 - Sheikha Al Saad Kuwait Squash Open 2007
Semi-Final 10-April-07
Ramy Ashour v John White
Two players who love to attack give us something special in this tournament with the biggest ever prizemoney in the history of squash. Ramy Ashour is still only 19 but is now in the top 5 in the world and former World #1 John White has rejuvenated form after lots of hard training back home which he showed at the recent ISS Canary Wharf Classic. Ashour has no respect for seniority and has left a trail of world class PSA players in his wake in recent times. We expected a classic and certainly got one.
Match 6 - Sheikha Al Saad Kuwait Squash Open 2007
Final 11-April-07
Ramy Ashour v Amr Shabana
Ramy Ashour is the youngest player to reach the top 5 on record and has beaten everyone except for his countryman and World #1, Amr Shabana. The biggest winners cheque that has ever been offered in squash awaits the winner. World Open Champion, David Palmer who lost out to Shabana in the semi-final provides fantastic commentary on this match. |

  | Mamut English Open and Al Ahram World Open 2006 SuperPack 3 amazing matches from these two tournaments have been combined here.
Peter Nicol v David Palmer (English Open Quarter-Final)
This repeat of the Commonwealth Games Final is potentially Peter's last ever PSA match on home soil. Palmer is gunning for the World #1 spot this season but Nicol is a player that Palmer has had trouble with in the past. A really high quality match in front of an enthralled Crucible Theatre. Superb commentary from Andy Bunting and Anthony Ricketts.
Thierry Lincou v Gregory Gaultier (English Open Final)
A great match here between the two french stars who could dominate the world game in the next few years. These two players have been meeting each other in recent tournaments but at later stages and have shown fantastic form in reaching this final here in Sheffield. Gaultier is the reigning French national champion having beaten Lincou but has yet to put on over on his senior partner on the PSA tour.
David Palmer v Gregory Gaultier (World Open Final)
Having put Lincou out at the Semi-Final stage, Palmer now lines up against the junior Frenchman on the PSA tour, who caused a major upset himself by putting out the "Prince of Egypt" Amr Shabana and silencing the home support here in the Pyramids. A record audience watched this match live on PSALIVE and it fitted upto the billing and gave us the most exciting World Open Final ever witnessed. Join commentators Andy Bunting and Peter Nicol (in his last PSA event) in the commentary box and listen to Peter talk about his career also during the match.
