Matthew and Willstrop had a very tense and much publicised clash at the British Open Final on the same court only 6 months ago and they are the form players with Willstrop having just won the Tournament of Champions at Grand Central Station in New York. The quality of the field this year really is sparkling with some other English players having had some great results of late with Daryl Selby and Alister Walker being dangerous players further down the draw.

The Women’s draw see’s Alison Waters and Jenny Duncalf seeded to reach the Final on Sunday.
